Parish Church María Reina: It was first built in 1552 with rustic wood and palm roof, and rebuilt in 1978, its current style is modern with an arched door and a bell tower.
Inside it preserves religious goods from different periods, among which a baroque-style altarpiece stands out and on one of its beams it is written that the church was built in 1552.
Municipal park: It is a contemplative place that has platforms, benches and a gazebo, in an environment of green areas dominated by ornamental plants where you can see: a two-faced Christ on the east side, a bust of Rubén Darío, a monument to General Miguel Ángel Ortez, the youngest general in Sandino's army, another in tribute to the working woman of the municipality and a large sculpture of an iguana, which represents the hill of the same name. This park was restored in May 2016.
Mausoleum of El Cuje hill: This monument was built in honor of Miguel Ángel Ortez, because one of the versions of his story indicates that he was buried at the foot of this hill.
Beisball Stadium Balvino Cruz Martinez: In memory of this baseball promoter in Palacagüina, it has an area of approximately 1.5 blocks. It was
built in 1993 and rebuilt in 2012; It is equipped with roofed bleachers, perimeter wall, blackboard, dugouts and hygienic services.
Sports fields: in which baseball and soccer are practiced. Ideal for exercising and sharing with the youth of the municipality. They are located in urban and rural areas, currently there are 10 fields in the municipality.
Municipal sports center: it is a place for family recreation and especially for sports. It is located in the old Plaza Ramón Raudales.
Municipal square: here the activities related to the town's patron saint festivities are held, activities such as bullfights, games and others are held. It is located next to the Balvino Cruz Martínez Municipal Stadium.
