The urban architecture of Santo Domingo is of recent date, perhaps 150 years old. The oldest houses were built of wood and floors of the same material (drum), with wide corridors, on whose railings the horses that came from the mountains were tied, a typical scenario of an old mining town. Its streets are narrow, irregular and winding.

El municipal park It is a very popular place of entertainment for the residents and serves as a point of reference. This recreation space has proper signage and has a drinking water service, court, cafes, public lighting and benches. It is located on the main street of the municipality, a short distance from the Municipal Mayor's Office.
La municipal court It is roofed and soccer games, basketball games, meetings and local activities are held there. It is equipped with stands and electric light, built next to the Municipal Park.
The baseball It is a traditional practice in this municipality. There are open areas destined to practice this sport in which peasant leagues are promoted at the county and municipal level. The stadium is located in the urban area, in the Pancasán neighborhood.
La Santo Domingo bull barrier It is a permanent structure, used for the patron saint festivities and some important events where the committee decides to carry out bullfights. It is a few meters from the center of the municipality.
El Municipal cemetery It is located in the center of the town and it contains ancient tombs of important figures in the history of the town.
