San Sebastian Parish Church

San Sebastian Parish Church, of colonial style, is the oldest building in the town. It is one of the oldest temples in the department of Chontales. It has walls made of thick adobes with more than a meter thick. It preserves some of the images that were brought from Barcelona. This church was declared Cultural Patrimony of the Nation in 1950.

House of Emiliano Chamorro: House where Emiliano Chamorro Vargas (1871-1966), politician, military man and president of Nicaragua, was born. The birthplace of the time does not exist, on the current construction there is a plaque that indicates that this historical character was born there.

Monument to Manuel de Jesus Reyes Rodriguez. It is a bust with a biographical plaque in honor of the former mayor of Acoyapa in the 70s, under his mandate electric light was introduced.

Indigenous sculptures. Placed in 2010, they consist of two indigenous characters in stone located in front of the Municipal Library.
