The territory of the municipality of San Isidro has its indigenous origins, it is part of the old chiefdom of Sébaco, therefore, its culture and traditions are part of the cultural syncretism based on the indigenous and colonial heritage. Through Municipal House of Culture The rescue in the development of participatory socio-cultural processes of the population is strengthened by carrying out actions aimed at preserving the cultural heritage, promoting the creation and enjoyment of cultural artistic manifestations, in order to preserve the municipal and national identity.
The House of Culture is administered by the municipal government, it is endowed with national and local typical costumes. There is also a music school with instruments such as: guitars, pianos, drums, among others. There are qualified personnel to transmit knowledge and maintain the cultural identity of the municipality.
Handicrafts: expression of ancestral popular culture
In the Crafts Workshop, located in the community of San Andrés, they make utilitarian clay crafts such as pots, comales, vases and plates, among other objects, ancestral tradition, inherited from a family generation.
In the Monimbó and Villa Libertad neighborhoods they make ropes and rope and nylon rope; while in Villa Julián Roque Cuadra there are handmade clay brick workshops. In the urban area there are carpentry workshops.

Museum of History San Isidro El Guayabal: It is administered by the local government, it is located in the center of the municipal park, in front of the municipal mayor's office. It is a place of great cultural richness that promotes and rescues the cultural identity of the citizens of San Isidre, where you will find a considerable number of pre-Columbian archaeological pieces of different origins and provenance, which has led historians to suppose that the trade of objects passed here of luxury such as gold, feathers and precious stones.
Thus there are also pots and indigenous bones where they represent indigenous remains of our ancestors. These bones have been found in different places in the Estelí neighborhood.
