Basilica san sebastian: construction begins on December 27, 1891 and ends in 1939, Romanesque architecture due to its characteristics: domes, vaults, half-point arches and broken cross.

Its interior has three naves, on the ceiling there are biblical paintings. The pulpit carved in wood by the Granada-born sculptor Francisco Mayorga, represents the four evangelists: San Marcos, San Lucas, San Mateo and San Juan. The main altar is made of marble. The interior decoration is achieved by the same architectural lines of the building with its classic moldings and by different ornaments of paintings and mosaics, especially in the upper wall of the triumphal arch and in the always magnificently decorated apses. Different murals and paintings that adorn our minor basilica of San Sebastián, thanks to the work of the painters Juan Fush (Austrian) and Rodrigo Peñalba Arguello (León - Nicaragua), the first with his work "The martyrdom of San Sebastián" and the second artist with his work "Second martyrdom of Saint Sebastian".

In the world there are only two San Sebastián basilicas, the largest in Italy and the smallest in Diriamba, Nicaragua.

The invitation of the parish priest to the archbishop read: “For this great event, unique in the life of this parish of San Sebastián, I invite you and allow myself to name you godfather of the aforementioned bells. I do not doubt that knowing his love and devotion to our Lord Jesus Christ and to the patron Saint Sebastian, he will accept this invitation and will fervently attend the events indicated in the program, rejoicing with his presence the heart of his pastor Father Manuel Salazar and the pastor Espinoza ”.

The blessed and consecrated bells are: Sebastiana bell, consecrated in honor of the patron saint San Sebastián; Concepción bell, in homage to the queen of heaven, María Santísima; Alejandra bell, in honor of Archbishop González y Robleto; and Manuela bell, in honor of the parish priest, priest Manuel Salazar y Espinoza.

Parish Church of San Caralampio: It is a temple with a “colonial façade”, built in 1937. Inside it houses its patron Saint Caralampio Papa.

González Theater: Its construction began in 1921 under the responsibility of Jose Ignacio Gonzalez, a wealthy farmer from Diriamba. Seven years later it was inaugurated in 1928, it is located from the Diriamba public clock one block to the north, on the Pan-American highway, it belongs to Vigarni Gonzalez Montiel, between 1928 and 2001 the Gonzalez theater was the main source of entertainment for the diriambinos, it was a An ideal space for the enjoyment of families, declared a Historical Heritage of the municipality, it is currently in ruins but still remains a point of reference for visitors.

The watch: It was built in 1935, with an Art-Deco design, it has a height of 15.50 meters, it is a landmark of the municipality, it has visible clocks on its four faces. It has been remodeled over the years and continues to give the exact time. Boanerges Bendaña was the mayor who built it.

Plaza Park: has a full-body monument of Rubén Darío and another sculpture that represents the Chief Diriangén and in the center of the park there is a roundabout. It is common to enjoy the afternoons, eat something at the surrounding kiosks, and take walks on the platforms surrounded by a natural environment. The place has benches, public lighting, drinking water, among others.

La Mascota Park: a site equipped with comfortable benches, playgrounds, drinking water, lights and platforms. This site is visited by the townspeople in the afternoons. It is located in the urban area and has a library and a technological laboratory where care is provided to the population.

The municipal park of fairs "José Flores" was inaugurated in 2017 with a capacity to house 25 protagonists who sell products made with artisan hands, in this space we can find handicrafts, jewelry, clothing textiles, furniture wood, natural plants and many other attractive options for tourists visiting the city.
