In traditional food, the vigorón, baho, slices, nacatamal, mondongo soup, chicken soup, squash seed soup, izote stew and gallo pinto stand out.
The favorite sweets are sweet bread, donuts, donkey milk, marshmallows, lollipops, chimbo egg, panela and torrejas.
The favorite drinks are pinolillo, sozolca, coffee and chicha de puyón, from the Palo Blanco and El Jocote communities.
