Murruco or corn rice is the representative dish of the municipality.

Breads: Donuts and sweet breads. The Rosquillas El Buen Gusto stand out; Donuts from Doña Arcadia Hernández; Marielena donuts; Luby Bakery, El Buen Sabor Bakery and La Bendición Bakery.
Among the sweets stand out: Panela, donuts in honey, jocote in honey, broth, whipped panela, honey, sweet caramel, milk cajeta, mango jelly, meringue and cusnaca.
Drinks: Pozol with jícaro seed, sozolca, unfermented corn chicha, tiste, pinolillo, pozol, pozol with milk, fresh seasonal fruit, the popular Doña Delia Mendoza punch, and fruit wine.
