Cerro Pancasán Nature Reserve
The municipality of Matiguás is the one with the largest territorial extension in the department, it is located in the center of Nicaragua. The main mountainous elevations that stand out in the municipality are Sierra El Quiragua, Cerro Paipí, Cerro El Destino and Cerro El Bijagual.
