Mulukukú is a literally new and interesting municipality, favored by its nature and cultural traditions, visit this place and explore new places in our country.
The municipality is located 245 kilometers from Managua. It limits to the north with Siuna and Waslala, to the south with Paiwas, to the east with Prinzapolka and La Cruz de Río Grande and to the west with the municipality of Río Blanco.
The main economic activity of the municipality is livestock, from which the artisan cheese industry is derived. The other source of work is agriculture, the cultivation of rice, beans and corn stands out.

How to reach?
If you want to travel it is necessary that you go to the bus terminal of the El Mayoreo Market, here you must board a transport unit that travels in the direction of this municipality as is the case of the buses heading to Siuna, Rosita, among others; remind the driver or assistant to get off at Mulukukú, this bus will leave you in the urban area, where you can get around by taxi.
You can also travel by private vehicle taking the Carrera Panamericana Norte arriving in San Benito, it is necessary that you turn towards the department of Boaco, continue just until you pass through Río Blanco and finally reach the municipality of Mulukukú, well known for the river that crosses the city.
