The municipality of Camoapa is located 120 kilometers from the city of Managua. It limits to the north with the municipalities of Boaco, Matiguás and Paiwas (RACCS), to the south with Cuapa and Comalapa, to the east with La Libertad, and to the west with the municipalities of El Ayote, Santo Domingo and La Libertad.
The fundamental economic activity of the municipality is the cattle ranch, agriculture, the commerce and the economy of patio.

How to reach?
To get to the municipality you can board a bus at the El Mayoreo market terminal to the city of Camoapa, or if you are going to travel by private vehicle, you just have to go to the North Pan-American Highway, pass through Tipitapa and in San Benito turn on the right, go through Teustepe and San Lorenzo, until you reach Camoapa.
