The municipality of La Concepción is located 32 kilometers from the city of Managua. It limits to the north with Ticuantepe, to the south with San Marcos, to the east with Masatepe and to the west with El Crucero.

La Concepción has a road or highway network that intercommunicates with the different municipalities of the region, in addition there is very good accessibility with the departmental capitals of Masaya, Carazo and with the capital, this generates access facilities to the main urban centers. In a private vehicle, leaving Managua on the highway to Masaya until the 14 kilometer roundabout, you turn right towards Ticuantepe, follow the road that goes to La Concepción.
