The municipality of Jinotepe is located 46 kilometers from the city of Managua. It limits to the north with San Marcos and Masatepe, to the south with the Pacific Ocean, to the east with El Rosario, Santa Teresa and La Conquista and to the west with Diriamba and Dolores.
The fundamental economic activity of the municipality is the agriculture of vegetables, citrus fruits, basic grains, musaceae and coffee.

How to reach?
You can get to the city of Jinotepe from Managua by taking a transport unit at the bus terminal in front of the Casimiro Sotelo Montenegro National University and at the Israel Lewites market. Jinotepe also has a bus connection that travels to Rivas, Nandaime, Granada and various cities in the department of Masaya.
You can also travel by private vehicle taking the South Pan-American Highway passing through El Crucero and Diriamba, until you reach the municipality, the road is in good condition.
