La Paz de Carazo is a small town full of humble and industrious people, it is characterized by being a rural community that invites you to know its scenic views and to be part of its patron saint festivities at the beginning of February.
The municipality is located 56 kilometers from the city of Managua. It limits to the north with Niquinohomo, to the south with Santa Teresa, to the east with Diriá and Nandaime and to the west with the municipality of El Rosario.
The diversified agricultural production in the crops of sugar cane, beans, corn, rice and others on a smaller scale such as: musaceae and citrus correspond to the fundamental economic activity of the municipality.

How to reach?

To get to La Paz de Carazo you can board a minibus bound for Jinotepe at the terminal in front of the Casimiro Sotelo Montenegro National University, being in Jinotepe board a taxi or minibus that takes you to the municipality of La Paz de Carazo.
If you go by private vehicle there are three ways to get there: from Managua through the cruise, from Managua through La Concha, Masatepe and San Marcos through Masaya, Catarina, Diriomo and Nandaime.
