Rosita is a municipality surrounded by nature, history, indigenous communities that highlight their cultural diversity, charismatic and simple people, it is a place where you can live extraordinary adventures. It is part of the “Mining Triangle”.
The municipality of Rosita is located 480 kilometers from the city of Managua. It limits to the north with Waspam, to the south with Prinzapolka, to the east with Puerto Cabezas and Prinzapolka and to the west with Siuna and Bonanza.
The municipality currently has a semi-diversified economy, the main activity is artisan güirisería; livestock and agriculture is subsistence, forestry is their main source of income.

How to reach?
To get to the municipality you must go to the Atlantic bus terminal on the outskirts of the El Mayoreo Market in Managua, here you must board a transport unit bound for Rosita, the travel time is approximately 12 hours.
You can also get to the municipality traveling by private vehicle, taking the North Pan-American Highway, you turn off in San Benito towards Boaco, you pass through Río Blanco, Mulukukú and then Siuna, where you have to turn right at Gas Station Uno, towards Rosita municipality.
