During the patron saint festivities the most colorful cultural attraction is the traditional "Bailantes de Boaco". This is a very old and authentic traditional manifestation rescued by Dr. Armando Íncer.

It consists of two groups of dancers who march through the city accompanying the processions and dance to the rhythm of their own characteristic music, also interpreting parliaments typical of this event. Dressed in different colors, carrying swords and striking morriones adorned with mirrors and flowers, these dancers represent the Moors and Christians of the reconquest wars in ancient Spain.
