Dedicated to Virgin of Montserrat, these festivities take place from February 08 to 18. It is one of the most important references of the identity of this town.

On 08, the top of the venerated images of San Juan de La Concepción, San Marcos, patron of the municipality of San Marcos, and the Virgin of Monserrat in the place of Las Pilas or Sapasmapa. In the morning hours the Virgin leaves her parish in procession and goes to meet her friends, on the way she meets with San Juan Bautista and San Marcos.

Promising people and visitors dance to the sound of the marimba and the sounds of the philharmonic bands, accompanied by fireworks with mortars and gunpowder, which give the festive touch and animation to this religious event.

At the end of the top the images return in procession, crossing the main streets and avenues of the city. A solemn mass is held in the Parish, where the residents express their faith and beliefs in the Virgin.

On February 09, the image of the Virgin of Monserrat is carried again in procession through the streets of the city. During the festivities, the butler and promisers give visitors food and drinks typical of the customs and traditions of the Concheño people.

Visitation of the pilgrim image is carried out in the communities of the municipality, where rosaries, masses, songs and toasts are celebrated.

Other events parallel to the patronal feast are the gastronomic fair, bullfights and the election of the reign of the patron saint festivities.
