In Potosí the patron saint festivities are dedicated to Our Lord of Esquipulas, which are celebrated on January 15.
The town with great devotion, performs for nine days processions, accompanied to the sound of the music of the philharmonic bands and typical dances, among them the Dance of the Inditas.
You cannot miss the dawn where the culture and traditions of the town are manifested, accompanied by fireworks and bullfighting festivals.
The main day of the celebration begins with a bullseye, followed by the mass in graces, then a procession takes place and the celebrations conclude with the game of the pike stick and a cultural magazine.
Potosinos also celebrate other religious activities, such as Holy Week, where they commemorate the life, passion and death of Christ. They also celebrate La Purísima in honor of the Conception of Mary.
