San Cristobal Volcano
Climbing the San Cristóbal volcano is a challenge for lovers of adrenaline and adventure, being this the highest volcano and one of the most active in the country. Once you manage to conquer the top of this colossus you will be able to enjoy a splendid panoramic view of the Maribios mountain range and part of the Nicaraguan Pacific.
It is quite a challenge to climb the volcano, the tour lasts two to three hours, and at the top you can see its famous crater lagoon formed as a result of the eruption and collapse of the volcano. You will also be able to observe the Gulf of Fonseca and on your return from the volcano visit the Potosí hot springs, where you can enjoy its warm waters.
