Virgin of Fatima
The patron saint festivities are celebrated in honor of the Virgin of Fátima, patron saint of the town. They take place from May 4 to 13.
The festivities begin on the 4th with the tour of the pilgrim image of the Virgin of Fatima through all the rural communities and then meets with the patron saint who is in the parish church.
El day 5 begins the novena of prayer; 11 and 12 The Parish Gastronomic and Commercial Fair is held, in which all the communities participate with their farm products, which are sold at low prices.
El 12 at night is the vigil of the Virgin, the day after a reveille is made at 05:00 am and in the mornings to the Virgin, later the rosary is prayed and then the procession that leaves the entrance of the town to the church is carried out, accompanied by all the parishioners, the Segovian philharmonic band and concludes with a solemn mass. The peasant mount is also carried out.
Harvest Festival. It takes place at the end of May. In this festivity, the gastronomy of corn products, fruits and vegetables produced in rural communities stands out and everything is sold at half price, because it is an activity to give thanks for the good harvest in the year. There is an auction with products that are exhibited from the fair.
