To get to the municipality you must board a transport unit in the Israel Lewites market bound for Chinandega, once here take a bus to this municipality, or in the direction of San Pedro del Norte and ask to get off at Cinco Pinos.
If you travel by private vehicle, you must take the Old or New highway to León, pass this municipality and reach Chinandega. At the Chinandega roundabout you must turn right to take the road to Somotillo, here take the road to the right until you reach Cinco Pinos.
