Within the religious traditions of the municipality, several patron saint festivals are celebrated; one in honor of Lady of the Forsaken, which takes place every second Sunday in May, through a parade of offerings where the people present presents and flowers to the Virgin.
The festival concludes with the rise of the Virgin to her throne, on the sixth Sunday of Easter.
It is also celebrated San Rafael on October 24, Saint Paul on June 29 and Saint Christopher on March 5.
These are commemorated with masses, processions, fireworks and with the top of the saints San Pablo, San Cristóbal, San Rafael and the Virgen de los Desamparados.
