To get to the municipality of San Miguelito you must go to the bus terminal of Mercado El Mayoreo in Managua, take a transport unit to the municipality of San Carlos, and ask the driver to get you off at the San Miguelito junction, then wait for a transport unit that takes you to the urban area of the municipality.
You can also travel by private transport, heading along the North Pan-American highway, when you reach the San Benito junction, turn right towards Boaco, passing through Juigalpa until the Lóvago junction or take the new Malacatoya highway until you reach the kilometer 255 where you must turn right towards the town center of the municipality. The municipality is located 57 kilometers from San Carlos.
